Hampshire Police are continuing to search for missing Charles Knight, who was last seen leaving his parents' home in Burghclere yesterday. 

Officers said his family are growing increasingly concerned for the Basingstoke man's welfare. 

According to friends, Charles left his phone at home and left the area by foot. 

This morning, the force confirmed enquires into Charles' disappearance are continuing today.

The 30-year-old was last seen after leaving his parents’ home in the village of Burghclere, in north Hampshire, on Wednesday morning.

Police Officers, along with Charles’ family, say they are growing increasingly concerned for his safety and are now asking the general public to report any sightings.

To help the public find Charles, police have issued a description and they are asking residents to keep an eye out for him. 

Charles is described as white, approximately 5ft 8ins tall, with tanned skin, a slim build with dark hair and a beard. He also has a number of tattoos on his arms and hands.

He was last seen wearing a green jacket, green cap, black trousers and walking boots.

Concerned friends have taken to social media in a bid to raise awareness about Charles' disappearance.

Jackson Evans wrote: "Charlie Knight has gone missing in the Newbury area and it is urgent that we find him!!

"He has left his phone at home. He is on foot. His car is at home

He continued: "He really needs everyone’s support and help. Please if you see or hear anything from him please report it to the police, myself or Hayley or his mum Belinda."
