Reports of armed police attending 'incident' in Popley
ARMED police have reportedly been called to a road in Popley this evening (Sunday, February 14).
A strong police presence has been reported in Shakespeare Road.
It is unclear the nature of the incident at this time.
Hampshire Constabulary has been contacted for comment.
A witness has said people are being turned away from the road, as there are a number of police vehicles with "blue flashing lights" at the scene.
The witness said: "Not sure what’s going on but there are about 15 police cars down Shakespeare Road.
"All you can see is blue flashing lights, nothing else."
