It’s Valentine’s Day tomorrow.

Some of you will be spending the day away from your special one, but some others are lucky to be in the same lockdown bubble as their lover. Meanwhile, some of you would be drowning your single sorrows with a drink, cursing the Valentine’s Day.

Nevertheless, February 14 is always special. Although the pandemic has taken the shine out of this special day for lovers, a lockdown Valentine’s Day might not be bad for all, especially if your loved one is living with you.

On our Facebook page, we asked how you will be celebrating this Valentine’s Day. We received a bunch of amazing comments, reactions and suggestions.

One woman said she would be celebrating her wedding anniversary tomorrow, added to the charm of Valentine’s Day.

She said: “Having a takeaway, it’s our 48th wedding anniversary.”

For another one, it’s the birthday of her daughter.

“[I will be] Wishing my daughter a happy 30th birthday.”

A pensioner said he would be getting his Covid vaccine on Sunday, which definitely is more important under the current circumstances.

Most couples have already figured out that their Valentine’s Day would involve a takeout and Zoom call.

One person said: “We can't go anywhere, so we will stay in and celebrate. When we are able to go out again, we will book a meal somewhere.”

A few other couples have plans to cook, and enjoy their time with the family.

One commented: “Doing an afternoon tea for me, my daughter and husband, and making homemade decorations.”

Another person said: “Cooking a lovely meal for two with the missus.”

However, not everyone is in the Valentine’s Day spirit yet.

One student has too much to study that she cannot think of the special day tomorrow.

“I’ll be studying with my head in the books and probably with a nice drink in one hand.”

Another person said: “Just me and my dog.”
