A NORTH Hampshire council is asking for residents to help them decide where to put electric vehicle infrastructure.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced that new petrol and diesel powered cars will not be sold after 2030, also releasing funding to increase access to chargepoints.
Now, Hart District Council is asking residents to complete its survey to help it understand where the chargers are necessary.
Councillor Alan Oliver, cabinet member for the environment, said: “Electric vehicles have a key role to play in improving air quality and driving down emissions and Hart is committed to promoting greener and healthier travel.
“The feedback from residents will help us make sure our electric vehicle strategy meets the community’s needs so I hope as many as possible complete our short survey.”
