A BASINGSTOKE business recognised for its community spirit is giving something back to NHS frontline workers this month.
Black History Month saw 30 community achievers celebrated for their work, including Jojo Blankson and Effie Grant who run Blankson’s Ltd.
In celebration of their Community Achievers Awards they are offering all NHS and essential workers up to 5kg laundry or ironing and five dry-cleaned items for free. These offers are valid at their Basingstoke branch located in Bessemer Park, off Cranbourne Lane until November 30. Workers simply need to bring their staff ID for verification.
Effie Grant said: “We are essential workers too, so we understand the long days and nights poured in to keep our people and community going. The reward is always that smile, and joy given to another person, that’s enough and what our society needs more of today.”
In addition, the elderly and vulnerable will be offered some free services and social phone calls. If you run a hub where you know people who may benefit from these please email customercare@blanksons.com
