THREE cars went up in flames in the early hours of the morning in Fleet and Tadley.
The first vehicle fire took place on Aldershot Road, Fleet just before 5am this morning, November 17.
A spokesman for Hampshire Fire and Rescue confirmed more details about the fire.
"At 04:50am this morning, crews from Fleet were called to a vehicle fire (two cars on fire) on Aldershot Road, Fleet. Both of these cars were 75% damaged.
"Two hose reels and two breathing apparatus sets were used to extinguish the fires.”
A tweet from Fleet Fire Station’s Twitter showed the aftermath of the blaze.
A 21 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of arson for the incident in Fleet.
Hampshire police spokesperson said:"We were notified by Hampshire Fire & Rescue at 4.52am on November that two vehicles were on fire in Aldershot Road, Fleet The damaged vehicles were a blue Ford Focus and a red Ford KA. The arrested man, who is from Fleet, remains in custody."
Shortly after the Tadley station crew were called to a vehicle fire in Wolverton.
A Tweet from the Tadley Fire station showed the car englufed in smoke and flames and stated the the vehicle was an abandoned 4x4.
A spokesman for Hampshire Fire and Rescue said: “A crew from Tadley Station attended a car fire this morning in Wolverton. The car was 100% by fire and one hose reel jet was used to extinguish the fire. The stop message came in at 06:31am.”
