THERE were no new coronavirus cases reported in Basingstoke and Deane yesterday.
Government figures reveal that not a single coronavirus case was confirmed in the borough on Monday (November 16).
It comes after 27 new cases were reported on Sunday.
Over the last week, there have been a total of 240 cases in Basingstoke and Deane, which is up just under five per cent on the week before.
The R rate - the rate at which the virus spreads - is estimated to be between 1.2 and 1.4 in the South East.
It comes as no deaths within 28 days of a positive Covid-19 test were reported yesterday either.
The figure in the last seven days stands at three, the same as the week before.
In Basingstoke and Deane, the coronavirus 'rate' - the number of people testing positive per 100,000 of the population - stands at 134.8, well below the national average of 255.5.
