St. Michael’s Hospice’s Light Up a Life is back campaign is back.
Every year the lives of those who are loved and missed is celebrated and remembered by the creation of a star in the Hospice’s starry sky. This year many people may also want to create a star for those they cannot be with right now.
Social distancing guidelines mean the event in the Hospice grounds, cannot take place this year. The hospice has arranged a video of remembrance to go out on its social media channels on Sunday, December 6 at 6pm.
The Hospice had to cancel many of its fundraising events this year, events which are vital to help it raise the £5million it costs to provide its services to those facing life limiting illness.
“We are really hoping the community will come together and create lots of stars in our sky,” said Jackie Ridge, Head of Fundraising at St. Michael’s Hospice.
