IT’S the October half term and parents across the county will be desperately trying to think of activities to keep the kids entertained.

If this sounds like you, there are plenty of things going on in Cumbria to keep the little ones entertained.

From getting mucky in a pumpkin patch to a virtual party, here are five Halloween-themed events you can do with the kids in Cumbria:

Walby Farm Park, Carlisle
When:
every day until 31 October

While you could go to a supermarket to choose your own pumpkin, there’s nothing like getting muddy and scouring the field for one.

Best of all, the fun continues at home when you can carve a spooky face into the pumpkin and use it as a Halloween decoration.

Walby Farm Park is one great pumpkin farm to visit in Carlisle and they have thousands of pumpkins for the kids to choose from.

Creepy Cookie will be hosting a ‘Villain Party’ on Zoom on the 30th November.

Spooky games will be played at the virtual party and there will be lots of dancing too.
