Five people arrested yesterday, (Tuesday, October 20), in connection with the murder of Frazer Brabant in Basingstoke, have been released under investigation.

Frazer was attacked in Brighton Hill on Halloween 2019, reportedly with a hammer.

The 34-year-old was rushed to Southampton hospital and put in a coma, but never recovered and died on January 21 of this year.

Five men from Basingstoke were been taken into custody yesterday in connection with the incident.

The men from Basingstoke aged 27, 25, 28, 22 and 32 have now been released under investigation.

A total of 15 people have been arrested in the murder probe but no one has ever been charged in connection with the incident.

Five people were arrested back in November 2019 on suspicion of conspiracy to murder - all of whom were released but remain under investigation.

Then in June, six people, including one previously arrested in November 2019, were taken into custody. Again, all were released under investigation.
