A TEENAGER from Bedford will stand trial accused of drug dealing.

Kane Kirby, of Deparys Avenue, is accused of having a variety of drugs on him in Basingstoke last October, with the intent to supply it.

He was caught in the town on October 26, 2019 with 21 wraps of crack cocaine and 30 wraps of diamorphine on him.

He is further charged with possession of one wrap of cocaine.

He appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Tuesday where magistrates sent the case to Winchester Crown Court.

The 18-year-old, who was 17 at the time of the offences, has been released on unconditional bail until he appears there on November 11.

Kirby has not entered pleas to the charges.
