A PATIENT who tested positive for coronavirus has died at Salisbury District Hospital - the first since June.
A woman in her 80s died on Sunday, October 11, the hospital has confirmed.
The number of covid-related deaths to have occurred at the hospital since the pandemic began is now 57.
In a statement, the Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust said: "Sadly a total of 57 patients who had tested positive for Covid-19 have died at Salisbury District Hospital.
"A woman in her eighties, with pre-existing health conditions, died on Sunday, October 11, 2020.
"Our thoughts and condolences are with the patient's family and loved ones at this difficult time."
