WINGER Sofiane Boufal wished Saints well for the future after he sealed a move back to boyhood club Angers on deadline day.
Boufal, who joined Saints from Lille for £16million in 2016, played 84 times in all competitions for the St Mary’s side, scoring five goals and registering five assists.
But with his time with Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men at an end, the Moroccan star took to social media to say goodbye to Saints.
A post on Boufal’s Twitter account read: "I want to say thank you to the club and the fans for these four years, special mention to all the fans who supported me during the good and bad times.
“I wish you all the best for the future. See you soon Saints."
