THEO Walcott is heading to Saints to undergo a medical ahead of a potential loan move from Everton, according to Sky Sports.
The winger, 31, is said to be interesting a host of clubs on a loan deal from Everton.
Deadline day live: All the updates from Saints
Walcott left Saints as a teenager in 2006 to join Arsenal, having played 23 times for the Hampshire club, scoring five goals.
But now according to widespread reports, Saints are in talks to sign him again before tonight's 11pm deadline.
Former England international Walcott joined the Toffees from Arsenal in 2018, but has featured just once in the Premier League so far this season for Carlo Ancelotti's table-toppers.
Sky also claim Everton and Saints would share Walcott's wages, paying 50 per cent each for the duration of the loan.
