A POLICE car was rammed during a chase after a driver was asked to stop by officers.
A blue Volkswagen Golf, believed to be linked to the supply of drugs, failed to stop for police officers in Burnley on Saturday night.
A pursuit ensued during which a police car was rammed by the driver in the Golf.
The chase was brought to a quick end without injuries and four men were arrested by police.
Cash and phones were seized, and enquiries are ongoing.
A spokesman said: “A blue GOLF believed to be linked to the supply of drugs, failed to stop for the team. During the short pursuit a Police vehicle was rammed by the GOLF.
“Officers brought the pursuit to a safe conclusion without any injuries sustained to the Officers involved and 4 males were detained. Cash and phones were seized and enquiries are ongoing.”
