Firefighters rushed to the scene of a house fire in Chineham this evening.
A drill and battery charger caught alight while charging, Hampshire Fire and Rescue said.
Basingstoke firefighters headed to Minden Close in Chineham just before 7.30pm.
Luckily, no one was injured and the homeowners managed to quell the blaze prior to arrival.
In a statement, the fire service said: "Basingstoke [crews are] returning from a fire on Minden Close, Chineham.
"A drill and battery charger caught fire whilst charing, spreading to clothing and furniture. Occupants extinguished this before fire service arrived.
"Crews inspected and ensured scene was left safe."
