THREE new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Basingstoke and Deane overnight.
It brings the total number of confirmed cases in the borough since the start of the outbreak to 1,018.
There have been 24 new cases confirmed in the last two weeks in the borough.
It comes as 6,634 new cases were confirmed by a positive test across the UK yesterday - the highest number since the start of the outbreak.
However, experts say that this is because testing is so much higher.
For the seven days up until September 18, 5.1 out of every 100,000 people in Basingstoke and Deane were being diagnosed with coronavirus.
