Casualty rushed to hospital after being rescued from sea off Weymouth Beach
A PERSON was taken to hospital after being recovered from the sea off Weymouth beach.
Coastguards were alerted to the casualty in the water at 9pm last night.
A spokesman for Wyke Coastguard Rescue Team said: "The team was tasked again this evening, just before 2100-this time to a person recovered from the water on Weymouth Sands.
"The casualty was placed in an ambulance and taken to hospital."
