UPDATE: Services returned to normal
RAIL passengers are facing long delays after a points failure has blocked services around Ascot.
South Western Railway has warned customers of the disruption due to issues at Wokingham.
It has said the Ascot bound line is blocked and services running through this station may be cancelled or delayed as a result.

The rail firm has also said that trains running between Waterloo and Reading may run between Waterloo and Ascot until further notice.
It added: "To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted, at no extra cost to yourself, on the following services:
- Great Western Railway between Reading and Paddington
- Reading buses: 4 and X4
"We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey."
