The figures show one person in the Basingstoke and Deane area has had one positive test result in the last 24 hours.

A total of 18 people tested positive for the virus in Hampshire in the last 24 hours.

The Government said that as of 9am on Tuesday, there had been a further 2,420 lab-confirmed cases of coronavirus.

This takes the overall number of confirmed cases to 352,520.

The Government said 41,584 people had died within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19 as of Tuesday, an increase of 30 on the day before.

Separate figures published by the UK’s statistics agencies show there have now been 57,400 deaths registered in the UK where Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate.
