Police are appealing for witnesses and information after suspects stole eight hand-built motorbikes from two garages in River Way, Andover.

As previously reported by The Andover Advertiser, the crime happened overnight between 4.30pm on July 7 and 8.30am on July 8. The vehicles were taken from private garages at Itchen Court.

The suspects forced entry through one of the doors and ripped up the floor anchors securing the bikes before stealing them. Police said the owner was devastated.

The bikes are:

* Yamaha YZ 125 1993
* KTM 125sx 2012
* KTM 250 exc 2009 
* Kawasaki kxf 250 2009
* Kawasaki kxf 250 2012
* Honda crf250 2010

A spokesman said: "Have you been offered a bike for sale in suspicious circumstances or have you seen any of the bikes in the images?

As previously reported, owner Kevin Hurley, a 32-year-old mechnical engineer, offered a £2,000 reward to anyone who could give information that would lead to the recovery of the bikes.
