A man who was arrested after a car crashed into a house over the weekend has been released from custody.
Hampshire Constabulary as well as the Ministry of Defence police were called at around 7.30pm on Saturday, July 25 to reports of a crash on Birch Road, Tadley.
A blue Mazda was driving along Plantation Road, when it reached the junction with Birch Road it collided with a parked Vauxhall Corsa. This caused the Corsa to crash into a home on Birch Road, causing damage.
A Hampshire police spokesman said: "The driver, a 24-year-old man from Pamber Heath, tested positive for drugs at the roadside.
"He as also found in possession of cannabis and a lock-knife.
"He was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, driving under the influence of drugs, driving without insurance, possession of cannabis, and possession of an offensive weapon.
"He has been released from custody but remains under investigation."
