The Camrose saga goes on, and on, and on.
It's like some weird TV series, a sort of Dallas gone wrong. J.R. (the owner) seems to have stitched many previous share holders up, or duped them. The county council wants to build a road through the site, the borough council won't buy the site, the local football team aren't local, their proposed new ground is really just a kiddies ground, and the town's MP is backing something to do with it (I haven't quite figured out what).
Has J.R. (otherwise known as Razzak) got planning permission to build houses on the site? Will the local team ever be local again? Will the Brighton Hill roundabout (that cost a large fortune, but will have no underpasses) ever be built? Could you make this up? No!
Let's be honest the whole Camrose saga is a reflection of how absolutely pathetic our borough and county councils are, couldn't run a ****-up in a brewery just about sums up the way they have let this whole thing go to pot.
