A Basingstoke teenager is cutting his long locks for two charities.
Joshua Halls, 14, who attends Bishop Challoner School, has been growing his hair for the last 4 years to support the Little Princess Trust Charity by chopping off his hair. The Princess Trust Charity make wigs for children who have lost their hair from cancer treatment.
He will then be shaving the rest of his head to raise money for Sebastian's Action Trust, a charity that supports the families of children with disabilities and life limiting conditions.
"My younger brother Isaac, 11, has been supported by the charity because of his own disabilities," Josh said.
"I wanted to give something back."
Josh is having his hair cut off at home on the Thursday, July 16, and has set up a GoFundMe fundraising page for anyone who wants donate money. Already he has raised more than £700.
"It is for such a good cause," Josh added. "No donation is too big or too small and every penny will go towards helping families who are supported by Sebastian's Action Trust."
