A TEENAGE boy has been released on police bail following a reported assault at a New Forest convenience store.
As reported, officers were called to Budgens in Salisbury Road, Ringwood, on Monday, July 6, following reports of an incident involving a man with a knife.
Hampshire Constabulary arrested a 16-year-old boy from Fordingbridge on suspicion of several offences in connection with their investigations.
Providing an update, a force spokeswoman said the teenager had been released on bail in relation to his arrest on suspicion of two assaults occasioning actual bodily harm, affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
He was released without further action in relation to his arrest on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs, the spokeswoman said.
