MORE than 800 people across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole have tested positive for coronavirus.
Latest Public Health England figures show there 806 positive tests in the BCP area in total.
This gives a rate of 203.6 per 100,000 people.
The figures come as the government included ‘pillar 2’ tests for the first time.
This refers to the tests done in the community, rather than tests done in labs and hospitals.
In the Dorset Council area, 597 people have tested positive, a rate of 158.6.
The South West currently has an R rate of 0.6-0.9, the lowest in the country.
