There has been one new coronavirus death recorded across all Hampshire hospitals in the past 24 hours.
It comes as England today (Thursday) moves closer to 29,000 coronavirus-related deaths in hospitals.
Figures released by NHS England today show that amongst the new deaths recorded in the past 24 hours, one was at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Andover, Basingstoke and Winchester hospitals. This is the first recorded coronavirus death at the hospital trust since June 14.
No new deaths were recorded at Portsmouth Hospital, none were recorded at University Hospital Southampton and none at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust.
A further 55 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 28,490.
Patients were aged between 49 and 98 years old. One patient, aged 70, had no known underlying health conditions.
