Two boys have been arrested after a teenager was stabbed in Brighton Hill yesterday.
Police were called at 2.37pm on Saturday to a report of a serious assault on Schubert Road.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said that a 17-year-old boy had been stabbed.
He was taken to hospital where his injuries were initially described as serious, but police have today confirmed that the injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Police have also arrested two boys in relation to the attack.
A spokesman for the forced said: "A 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy, both from Basingstoke, have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
"They remain in police custody at this time.
"The 17-year-old boy who sustained stab wounds remains in hospital."
