A RESIDENT's footage shows a plane flying over Basingstoke Hospital last night for clap for carers.
Resident, Glen Marsh, 55, who lives at Netherfield Place, captured the moment on camera at 8pm when a plane surprised the crowd and flew over the hospital.
People gathered in full support, cheering as the plane dipped low and circled around the area.
Mr Marsh told the Gazette: "The plane was completely unexpected and came out of nowhere.
"It was great to see people showing their support to the NHS."
It comes after the nation came together to clap for the NHS, among them 100-year-old Dabirul Choudhury, whose raised over £177,000 for coronavirus relief.
The Prime Minister also made an appearance outside No 10 for a solo clap, without his fiancée Carrie Symonds, who had accompanied him last week.
