A tree came crashing down in blustery weather and it was down to a local gamekeeper to clear the path
Those used to driving on country lanes will be familiar with the fear of driving on country roads during blustery weather.
And that fear was realised in Pamber Heath, last night, when a gigantic tree came crashing down. It is currently blocking the road between Charter and Pamber End.
Luckily, there were no injuries as it happened overnight.
Basingstoke rural police have been called to the scene to monitor the situation as a local gamekeeper is currently coming to the rescue by removing the road obstruction.
