A MAN suffered a cut to his head after being struck by an object flung from a catapult, police say.
Officers were called last night after the man, out for a walk on Micheldever Road in Whitchurch, was struck by the object, which came from a moving car.
It happened at around 6.30pm, police say.
Their enquiries are ongoing, whilst a social media post of someone in the area at the time says that the man is "lucky to be alive".
