A FESTIVAL PLACE store has donated Easter Eggs to NHS staff to spread Easter cheer.
Debenhams have made the donation to Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, who run Basingstoke hospital, ambulance staff at South Central Ambulance Service and key workers at St Michael’s Hospice.
With Easter fast approaching, staff in healthcare are facing the prospect of spending the long bank holiday weekend on the frontline as the coronavirus crisis continues.
To help them to celebrate the holiday, the team at Festival Place have distributed Debenham's donation to key workers.
Debenhams said on their Facebook page: "We've been continuing to show our huge appreciation to the NHS and key workers, donating Easter Eggs to spread a little Easter cheer.
"For the next four weeks, we will be sending gift cards each week to show our thanks.
"Head over to our Instagram and tag a key worker who deserves a little pick-me-up."
It comes after the Festival Place tower has been lit blue for the NHS.
