A 92-year-old woman made of 'strong stuff' has beaten coroanvirus, her granddaughter has said.
Hayleigh Jade Clayton, from Basingstoke, wrote into the Gazette tonight to share the incredible news about her relative.
She said: "My grandma has just beaten Covid-19, she's 92!"
Hayleigh posted the news on social media and said it went "insane with thousands of likes within minutes."
She wrote: "[I'm] absolutely over the moon that my 92-year-old grandma has beaten Covid-19.
Hayleigh joked: "I'm made from strong stuff!"
More than 23,000 people have liked the post with well-wishers sharing the post nearly 1,000 times.
