A pub manager in Basingstoke is launching live quizzes to help the community during Covid-19 outbreak.
Portsmouth Arms general pub manager, Richard Curtis, 30, in Hatch Warren, is streaming two live quizzes for children and adults, trying to encourage people to stay indoors.
Richard told the Gazette: “We had such an interest in the trial run yesterday. Around 4,500 people tuned in for the live quiz.
“We are running the live video from 8 to 9.30pm for adults and 5 to 6pm for children every day.
“This is our opportunity to be there for the community as they are there for us 365 days a year.
“I am giving something for people to do when they’re at home,” Richard added.
