BASINGSTOKE firefighters helped extricate two people from their vehicles after a crash the other side of Andover this morning (Saturday).
Emergency services were called to Amesbury Road, near Thruxton, after a two-vehicle crash at around 11.30am today.
Pictures on social media show the front end of one vehicle had been completely ripped off, while the other sustained serious damage to the front left side.
Police, ambulance and the fire service were all at the scene, with fire crews from Andover, Basingstoke and Amesbury in attendance.
Three casualties were reported in total, two of whom had to be extricated by the fire service.
They were then handed over to the care of the ambulance service.
