A delivery driver had to be pulled to safety after attempting to drive through a flooded south Hampshire road.
The DPD worker attempted to brave a flooded ford - with devastating results.
The motorist, travelling through Fordingbridge in south Hampshire, got stuck and was forced to abandon their van.
He had to be pulled to safety as his vehicle became trapped.
The incident happened on Sunday with photographs of the submerged van posted on social media to warn others.
Staff at Fordingbridge Home Care posted: "Please do not attempt to cross flooded fords.
"This driver was swept down river at Molyes Court.
"He was pulled to safety by passers by."
