THREE teens, including two from Basingstoke, have been arrested after a 16-year-old was assaulted in a park in Andover.
Police say a 16-year-old Andover teen was assaulted by a group of males in the park between Topaz Drive and King George Road just after 6pm on Thursday.
The victim’s bag was stolen and he sustained a cut lip and bruising.
Three teens have been arrested on suspicion of robbery; a 16-year-old boy from Basingstoke and two 14-year-olds, one from Basingstoke and one from Tadley.
They are currently in police custody.
Officers say they are investigating the incident and the exact circumstances of what took place.
A statement from Hampshire Constabulary read: “We would like to hear from anyone with information on this incident.
“Were you in this area at the time? Did you see what happened?

“Alternatively, people can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where information can be left anonymously.”
