The incident was reported less than an hour ago.
An ambulance and lorry have had a collison on the M3 northbound between Winnal and Popham Junction 8 and 9 exit with emergency services on the scene.
The ambulance involved was on a non-emergency call at the time and was being driven by a member of the fleet maintenance team.
Both drivers sustained minor induries and are being taken to hospital for further assessment.
A spokesperson from the South Central Ambulance Service said: "Thank you to our staff wh responded to the incident as well as our colleagues from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service and Hampshire Constabulary, and Highways England for their support."
Long delays are expected in the area so avoid Popham and Winnal when possible.
