FOUR men were arrested following an incident at the Top of Town today (Friday) and have since issued an appeal for witnesses.
Officers were in the area at around 1pm this afternoon when they stopped four men outside of McDonald's.
Each of the men were later arrested.
Police left the scene at around 1.22pm and are now appealing for information about what might have happened before they arrived.
A message shared by Basingstoke Cops on social media read: “We are appealing to members of the public who might have seen what occurred before we arrived.
“If you were in the area at the time and saw or heard what happened, please contact us on 101 quoting ref number 44200029626.”
