POLICE are hunting a woman who allegedly stole pension money from a 73-year-old in Festival Place.
Hampshire Constabulary say the woman in the picture stole the money from the partially-sighted man at some point between 12pm and 2pm on Monday, January 13.
The victim had just been to withdraw his money from the shopping centre when he got into the lift with the woman. The police say she engaged in conversation with the man before taking the cash.
It was only when he left the lift that he really his money had been taken.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "We would like to speak to the woman pictured in connection with an incident in which a partially sighted pensioner had a quantity of cash stolen from his pocket.
"Do you recognise the woman pictured in the CCTV image?
"If you can help, please get in touch by calling 101 and quoting reference 44200016463."
