A BASINGSTOKE fitness class is celebrating their second anniversary in business.
Funk and Twist fitness, based in Popley, Viables and Oakridge, offers a range of classes every week, including The Jungle Body and Garage Workout.
Founder, Selina Waissen, said that celebrating the birthday was a “proud moment”.
“To be instructing for the last two years is great,” she told the Gazette. “It’s my passion and I enjoy it, I love it and I want to build it.
“I’ve put a lot of time and planning into it to ensure that I can deliver fun fitness classes for people to follow.”
For the special, two-year anniversary session being held on January 13, Selina is hosting a special session with a diva playlist, whilst people are able to dress up too if they like.
“The highlight of everything is about how much of a community I’ve built,” she continued. “I’m proud that I’m impacting people’s lives with fitness.
“I’ve had lots of support from my friends and family with this. I do have another instructor as well, Amy, and that’s been a big step having her on board.”
