SCORES of children turned out for the first anniversary of Salisbury's Junior Parkrun.
Lacing up on Sunday for Churchill Gardens' first running event of the year, the more than 80 young runners completed the 2k route, which marked nearly a year to the day since its first event on January 6, 2019.

And when they finished, children were presented with special certificates to mark the occasion, with a cake also being given to volunteers.
In total, almost a thousand youngsters have taken part in the event, since its inception in the city.
The event runs alongside the adult Parkrun, which takes place every Saturday at 9am. It is also held at Churchill Gardens, although due to flooding, has yet to be held this year.
