THE M3 has been re-opened after an earlier incident between Hook and Basingstoke.
The southbound carriageway was shut between junctions 5 and 6 for around an hour and a half during this morning's rush hour after a car hit the central reservation just before 8am.
Hampshire Constabulary have confirmed that a vehicle crashed into the barrier, and that officers were on scene, but have not released any further information.
