DRIVERS are facing a Christmas hangover on the roads around Basingstoke with delays affecting two stretches of the M3.
Although no specific incidents have been reported, congestion is causing lengthier than normal driving times and waits nearing half an hour in places.
Northbound traffic between Winchester Services and Junction 8, for Popham, is being affected with delays of 25 minutes reported.
And southbound traffic between Junction 5, for Hook, and Junction 6, for Dummer, is also congested, with delays of 20 minutes.
Elsewhere, the nearby A34 had previously been affected by delays after
