The accident happened on the A303 eastbound near Popham Airfield
DELAYS have eased after an earlier accident on a dual-carriageway between Basingstoke and Andover.
One lane had been blocked on the A303 eastbound, near Popham Airfield, after a vehicle crashed into the central reservation.
But all lanes are now clear with traffic said to be easing.
Police say they were called to the scene at 4.29pm with reports of a collision on the A303 near Popham Services.
A Volkswagen Passat had collided with the central reservation.
The ambulance service was also called and attended the scene of the crash.
Severe delays were reported and average speeds of five miles per hour.
