HAMPSHIRE motorists are being warned to take care on the roads tonight with temperatures set to plunge.
The Met Office has reported a minimum temperature of 2 °C in the south.
It added that it will stay windy and it will turn rather cold, particularly in more rural spots.
According to Hampshire Highways, gritters will on the roads tonight from 8pm.
They will be salting the north and central parts of the county.
Tomorrow, showery rain is expected through the afternoon, clearing through the evening.
A maximum temperature of 8 °C is forecast.
