RESIDENTS wanting to get their flu jabs have been queuing out the doors of doctor’s surgeries this morning.
Every year the NHS helps to protect adults and children at risk of flu and its complications.
However, this morning in Brighton Hill and South Ham some residents were waiting up to half-an-hour just to get in the door of the doctor surgery.
These photographs show residents queuing up outside the Gillies Health Centre, in Sullivan Road and the Acorn Partnership - St Andrew’s Centre, in Western Way.
Many patients have criticised the way the surgeries have operated since the amalgamation with Acorn Health Partnership.
One resident, who did not wish to be named said: “We drove past Gillies this morning and saw the queue, so thought I would try the St Andrew’s site.
“However, that was just as bad if not worse.
“We were waiting in line about 30 minutes just to get in the door.”
