A MAN from Hook is one of four people that have been arrested after a crash left a man with with life-threatening injuries.

The 52-year-old was detained on suspicion of perverting the course of justice after the collision.

The driver of the van, which hit a pedestrian at around 9.45am yesterday (Tuesday), failed to stop at the scene.

The incident took place on Fernhill Road in Farnborough.

Hampshire Constabulary are currently "conducting enquiries" to locate him.

DS Louise Mills said: "This collision has left a man with serious injuries and we urgently need to speak to the driver of the vehicle involved.

"If you were in the area and witnessed the incident, think that you may have any dash cam footage, CCTV or any other relevant information, we really want to hear from you."

As well as the man from Hook, a 42-year-old man from Wokingham, a 50-year-old also from Wokingham and a 22-year-old from Reading have been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and wounding with intent.

All four remain in custody.
