A NEW family-run business is to open its doors in the Chantry Centre this week.
Andover Home Essentials has taken up a lease with Test Valley Borough Council to open up in a unit in the town’s shopping centre.
The shop, which is family-run, provides all sorts of items for the home including kitchen essentials, hardware and stationery and will be based at Unit 26.
The store’s grand opening will take place this Friday, November 1.
Leader of Test Valley Borough Council, Phil North, said: “We’re really looking forward to the opening of Andover Home Essentials and it’s fantastic to see the Chantry Centre being able to support a local, family-run business.
“We have some huge plans for the centre of Andover and seeing more and more businesses making the most of the shopping centre’s leasing options since TVBC purchased it, is a great sign. I’m sure they will be welcomed by the rest of the community.”
Nick D’souza, of Andover Home Essentials, added: “Andover has a bright future ahead of it and we’re keen to play whatever role we can in it. Hopefully residents and shoppers pop in to say hello and like what they see!”
