Residents in Brighton Hill have been reacting to the news.

People living nearby on Facebook reported that three police vans and half a dozen police officers were called to the incident.

Meanwhile, a man who lives on Boyce Close said that he felt scared after hearing about the incident, and previous incidences in the area.

David said that back in the July, his bike was stolen and he found pieces of it nearby.

"There is a group of guys going around all the time," he told the Gazette.

"The kids are scared of talking about it."

David also says that he has felt intimidated since the street lights were switched off, which is when his bike was stolen.
